VERY GOOD KARMA
"Named for the wheel of fate by her hippie parents, young up-and-coming singer Karma has been compared to everyone from Janis Joplin to Chrissie Hynde with a blasting backup band reminiscent of the Black Crowes. To wit: this girl rocks. Lauded as the next new new thing, Karma shakes the Last Day Saloon on Friday, Jan 7, at 9 PM. Say you saw her when at Fifth and Davis Streets, Santa Rosa."

"Although it's a debut record, it strings together like a greatest hits collection and I must admit that I harbor fears about unleasing this pop juggernaut upon an unsuspecting public. Hopefully noone will get hurt."

- Thom Wilson
Producer...Karma's debut CD, The Offspring, Iggy Pop

"Like Joss Stone with seasoning. Karma's vocals have been compared to Robert Plant and Janis Joplin. A truly amazing talent, Karma will get your blood boiling."

START OFF THE NEW YEAR WITH GOOD KARMA!

"Maybe Karma should have been born 30 years earlier.  She would have fit right in with the likes of Janis Joplin or Led Zeppelin.  With her sexy-hippie threads and rock star good looks, not to mention her ferocious stage presence.  Karma would be right at home playing Bill Graham's famed San Francisco nightclub The Fillmore circa 1970."

- Glen Starkey
San Luis Obispo New Times

One band I was looking forward to was KARMA. Fronted by "Karma" a powerful and visual rock singer, this band is great fun. Rock 'n Roll, catchy songs with inspiring guitar riffs and a well rehearsed rythm section, they are one of the best female fronted rock bands in town. I love this stuff. "Cool Cool Water" is a favorite of mine. Karma... well.. she takes no prisoners. Can you say "rockstar"! Songs off their new CD and others were coming on like gang busters: "They've got a name for You; How long, and Dragging Me Down". Needless to say, Karma was called back for an encore and they finished their set with "Last Time". This will not have been the "last time" I've seen Karma. Go check them out next time they come your way.

KARMA KICKS OUT JAMS ON NEW CD
"At long last singer Karma is set to release her new CD. The 11 cut CD shows off her edgier side with scorching, almost defiant rockers in which she really gets to let loose her formidable voice. The guitars, bass and drums snap and pop with agression, but never overpower, and Karma sings so forcefully she almost snarls some of the lyrics. At times it's almost like a sleek, high octane sports car taking a corner too fast and getting dangerously close to running off the road, but Karma manages to regain control and get the vehicle on track. "Heart to Stone" features a thunderous blues harp / slide guitar backing reminiscent of Zep or Aerosmith and Karma roaring like a young Melissa Etheridge."

"Who said rock 'n roll is dead on the Monterey Peninsula? You couldn't tell by the standing room only crowd for Monterey singer Karma who sang her current radio favorite, 'Superman', as well as scorching Zep and Cheap Trick covers during her extended set." "Those who haven't heard Karma might be surprised at the power, maturity and refinement of her voice, and especially lyrics, a self assuredness and awareness that seems to come from deep within her heart and soul."

"Karma is returning live with her red hot band, to perform her entire new CD. If you've been looking for a reward for past good behavior, your Karma is here, and she rocks." "Karma has a soulful voice reminiscent of Chrissie Hynde and melodies that recall Blondie at their most glorious."
